Alberta Gunner (She/Her)

Alberta Gunner (she/her) is a Freelance Senior Creative with over 10 years’ experience across advertising, social media and music. Her specialties include copywriting, music and sound. She currently lives in London and freelances across the UK and in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia.

From a young age, Alberta realised the power advertising had. Her drive to enter the industry as a creative decision maker was fuelled by the onslaught of both bland communications and stereotypes being played out at the expense of minorities. She knew that new voices were desperately needed.

Since her first ad job in 2013, her passion and drive has been to harness this power, to have a positive impact in the community and create real change. Of course, not every campaign can have such a profound affect, but it’s this passion that drives her and informs her proactive work.

Over the course of her career, she’s worked across FMCG, automotive, fashion, retail, financial, government, NGO brands and more, including local and global accounts. Her experience includes a 4-year stint at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, a 3-year stint at independent agency SICKDOGWOLFMAN, 1 year at Howatson+Company, and representing Australia at the 2017 Creative LIAisons program in Las Vegas.

Outside of advertising she’s an Event Curator, DJ, Music Producer and Radio Host, and awaits her the chance to fuse these passions in a campaign. So stay tuned for the next big jingle. It’s only a matter of time.
