Yes, my dietaries are vegan, gluten free. No, it doesn’t count when there’s free pastries in the office. Yes, I’m one of those.
With that out of the way—g’day, howdy, hello. My name’s Alberta Gunner, and I’m a senior multi-disciplinary creative with over 10 years’ experience across advertising, branding, social media and music.
I’m an ideas-first creative who has spent years honing the craft of ideation and copywriting, with some art direction thrown in for good measure. My career began juggling two internships through university, to land a job at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne before I graduated. And after a 4-year stint—that included representing Australia at the 2017 Creative LIAisons program in Las Vegas—I moved to independent agency SICKDOGWOLFMAN, and then Howatson+Company, finally making the move to freelance work and other creative pursuits in 2024.
In that time, I’ve re-branded national companies, created multi-million-dollar TVCs, been in more radio sessions then I can count, launched integrated campaigns, worked as the creative lead on social media accounts, physically created content for said accounts, written entire websites, worked with celebrities, sportspeople and artists, launched a magazine, created event activations, worked on apps, written a children's book, pumped out eDMs, published oh-so-many catalogues, and so much more. You name it, I’ve probably done it, so get in touch if you need to see any specific work.
