In Victoria we have all kinds of signs telling people how to drive safely; stop, slow down, below 60km/h. But these signs don’t always remind drivers of the most important reason to obey. And because that reason isn’t front of mind for drivers, many don’t think twice about going a little bit faster and concentrating that little bit less. So, let’s disrupt them in these very moments, and trigger an emotive response to slowing down.
To do this, we’ll humanise streets with bespoke reminders of why set speeds are important, as written by the community; the people that live there.
